ABOUT

How Acrolesque came to be...

Elise and Dean had been practicing AcroYoga for a few years when one spring night in 2014, while monkeying around at a party, a friend asked if they'd be interested in performing for a burlesque fundraising event.  Feeling shy, but curious to see if they could pull it off, little by little they started creating a routine and inventing costume ideas. Lastly, they asked a few talented musician friends from local band Cat You Dog You to play live music for their act. Acrolesque was born!

The week of the event came and...the first performance was a hit! The audience was blown away by the act! Then Acrolesque was asked if they could perform again at a party that weekend... and the requests kept coming. Under the stage names of "Grace" and "DrUnkle", Elise and Dean now perform for parties, burlesque shows, private events, festivals, concerts, you name it!  Acrolesque now has over 50 shows under their belt, and three choreographed numbers that they perform. For information about booking Acrolesque, please visit the Booking tab. Private lessons, classes, and workshops are also available.
